This 1.5-year, 90-ECTS master's in biology is organised around four specialisations: Biochemistry, Biological Chemistry, Ecology and Evolution, and Microbiology and Immunology. The module list mixes life-science topics such as immunology, microbiology and the molecular life of plants with applied statistical regression and cell biophysics, and Cellular Biochemistry appears as a required course.
Study is full time and taught in English, with entry in the autumn semester only. Applicants can prove English with IELTS Academic 7.0 and at least 6.0 in each part, or with a Cambridge C1 Advanced result of 193 or a C2 Proficiency result of 200. Applicants holding an international bachelor's degree apply from 1 to 30 November 2026 for the 2027/28 academic year.
