About this programme
Communication across languages and cultures is the subject of this 120-ECTS, four-semester master's, and the required modules show it: globalised multicultural and plurilingual communication, intercultural communication strategies, management of multilingualism, language policy and planning, and multilingual marketing with transcreation. A research methodology module and a 6-ECTS course on understanding digital technology are also required, while audiovisual translation 1 and 2 are electives.
Teaching is in French and English, and French is expected at CEFR level B2. Admission is open to holders of the Faculty of Translation and Interpreting's bachelor in multilingual communication, or of a bachelor in a related field. Applicants with a foreign bachelor's degree register by 28 February 2027, and those with a Swiss bachelor's by 30 April 2027.
