About this programme
Law is taught here with an international and historical frame: the programme modules include European and Global Legal History, Roman Law and the Civilian Tradition, European Law, International Law and Digital Law. The core of national law follows in Criminal Law at 16 credits, Civil Law and Business Law at 14 each, and Constitutional Law at 14. A 21-credit elective module and an 8-credit Bachelor's Module complete the degree, and an additional Latin exam is required during the studies.
The Bachelor of Laws covers 180 ECTS credits over six semesters and has 250 places. German and English both appear in the entry rules: an application needs German at A2 and English at B2, while admission requires German at C1. The entrance exam is held once each academic year, and admission for the summer semester 2027 runs from 11 January to 31 March 2027.
