About this programme

Law is the subject from the first modules: Introduction to Law, International Law, Human Rights Law, and Topics in Law covering private and public law. The 240-ECTS plan combines a 60-ECTS common core and 122 ECTS of Fundamentals of Law, then a 30-ECTS track chosen by the end of the fourth semester: Comparative International Law, Global Finance Law or International Business Law. A senior thesis worth 8 ECTS is required.

Vienna is the base for this 4-year, 8-semester full-time LLB, taught in English and in person, with about 30 places per year. The degree is still in the Austrian accreditation process and does not lead to national legal licensure. Entry asks for a secondary school GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4-point scale, a recommendation letter and a short essay, with English shown by a Duolingo score of 110 or an ACT score of 23, among other tests. Full-time tuition is €24,068 per year in 2026/27.
