About this programme
This intensive adult English course packs 32 lessons, or 24 hours, into each week, with no more than 15 students in a class. The morning timetable trains the four core skills alongside some grammar, and the afternoon sessions let students prepare for Cambridge FCE or IELTS. Students are placement-tested on or before arrival, and weekend excursions run to nearby cities such as London, Cambridge and Norwich, paid for as taken.
The minimum age is 16, rising to 18 in the summer term, which runs from 14 June to 27 August 2027. Tuition covers certificates, student cards, exam advice and 24-hour welfare support. In 2027 a registration fee of £70 applies, and host-family accommodation costs £205 per week on full board or £190 on half board.
