About this programme

European integration is a thread throughout: European Integration and Contemporary History of Europe in the second semester, then Institutions of the EU in the sixth.⁠ Beside it sit International Security, Human Rights and Democracy and Research Methods and Tools, which are compulsory.⁠ Electives range from Arctic Geopolitics and Rise of Asia to Britain and the European Union.⁠ Two diploma seminars in the final year lead to the bachelor's final exam.⁠

The English-taught full-time bachelor lasts 3 years and needs 180 ECTS credits, at least 100 of them from compulsory courses.⁠ Practical training and exchange stays are possible but not mandatory.⁠ Admission has two rounds, with a document review where 30 of 40 points open the way to an online interview.⁠ English at B2 level can be shown with IELTS Academic, a Duolingo score of 105 or a Cambridge certificate.⁠ Applications for the autumn semester 2027 are open from 1 November 2026 until 15 May 2027.⁠
