About this programme
The business economics bachelor mixes economics, accounting and management: Microeconomics 1, Macroeconomics 1, Financial Accounting 1, Financial Management, Management, Marketing and Operations Management are all compulsory. English runs through the first four semesters as a foreign language, and a second language, French or German, is added in semester 4. Electives such as Economic Policy 1, Basic Finance and Logistics come later, and the Final Project totals 10 ECTS.
Taught in Czech, the full-time course lasts 3 years and 180 credits at the Faculty of Economics and Administration. Work placements earn credits but are not mandatory, and students can go abroad with Erasmus+ or earn a double degree with the University of Huddersfield. A serious working knowledge of Czech is a stated requirement, and applicants take the TSP study-aptitude test in sessions from 29 November 2026 to 14 February 2027 in Brno, then from 15 February to 25 April 2027 at more locations. The application fee is 900 CZK in 2026/27, and applications for 2027/28 are open until 28 February 2027.
