A 3-trimester language course, taught in Czech, in Prague.
This is a Czech-language preparation year for applicants heading to art and architecture studies, taught in person in Prague in three trimesters. The first two weeks are intensive Czech plus an adaptation programme, and academic subjects begin from week 3. Students have 35 lessons a week, 1,250 in total, on weekdays from 8:30 to 15:30, plus about 10 hours of self-study. Tests in Czech and academic subjects close each trimester, and a final Czech exam leads to a certificate recognised by more than 80 faculties.
The target is B1 or B2 Czech, and a two-year option exists that starts from beginner level for students whose native language is far from Czech. No Czech or English level is required, but applicants must have finished high school and turn 17 by 31 December of the starting year. The programme starts in September 2027, and accommodation is paid separately.
