About this programme
Four specialisations shape the second half: Bioengineering Technologies, Biorobotics, Imaging & In Vitro Diagnostics and Medical Device Design. The compulsory first-year modules mix life science and engineering, including Applied Cell Biology, Biostatistics, Biomechatronics, Biomedical Optics and Control System Design for Robotics. The second year holds a 15-credit internship and a 45-credit master's thesis.
This full-time, English-taught MSc lasts 2 years in Enschede and starts in either February or September; the listed dates are 1 February 2027 and 1 September 2027.
