About this programme
Teenagers aged 13 to 15 pick a subject like Biotechnology and Genetics, Engineering, Innovation and Technology, International Relations and Politics, Law, Mathematics or Media Studies. Lessons are interactive small-group classes of no more than 10, with group work, independent research and homework that is discussed in class. Courses carry no university credit; participants receive a certificate.
Each 2-week course is based in Cambridge colleges hired for the summer, with full board. Excursions go to the British Museum, Canterbury, Greenwich and Portsmouth. Free time off site is allowed only in groups of at least 3 and for short periods. No formal entry requirements apply beyond genuine interest in the subject and good working English. Medicine sessions in 2027 start on 27 June, 4 July, 11 July and 18 July. The 2027 price is £5,795 per session non-residential and £6,995 for the plus tier.
